![]() ![]() I think a Perseus will be comparable in price to a Hammerhead (12.4 million aUEC), while a Polaris will probably sit somewhere between a Carrack (26.7 million aUEC) and an 890 Jump (32.3 million aUEC). Based on the size difference between both of these ships the Polaris will likely be significantly more expensive to buy in-game than a Perseus. Something else to consider is the potential $ to UEC conversion when comparing both ships. What are your thoughts on these two ships? Perhaps I am leaning more towards the Polaris now. ![]() Deterrence helps keep running costs lower. In theory, the S10 Torps and S3 Missiles itself will serve as a deterrence during patrol, S&R and exploration. The Polaris on the other hand can operate in deep space alone for a longer period. A skill captain is also mandatory as mistakes will be punished severely onboard the Perseus. Flanking/ganking and guerilla tactics is essential. Doing tons of damage before getting outta dodge.Īs I write this guide, I have concluded that while the Perseus may require lesser crew members to operate, operating it in the absence of a fleet is not ideal. It appears that this ship requires a high-skill level, as it is essential to have a capable captain and a skilled pilot who will be able to weave in and out of battle. So theortically, it has a higher chance of hitting its target. The health pool and damage potential is less than that of the Polaris though a S5 Torp is smaller and faster than the S10s. It is much cheaper to operate, and requires lesser crew as well. It is singular in its design/role and excels in it. PERSEUS SUMMARY: Perseus is perfect for a small crew looking to hunt the smaller, sub-cap Ships. However, the medium tanks may be problematic for prolonged operations The hangar and vehicle bay opens up other gameplay options like S&R. It moves much faster than other cap ships any light crafts that do catch up to it won't be able to do much damage before being taken out by either the turrets or the S3 missiles. Its Capital-sized radar combined with the S10 Torps makes it ideal for hunting other cap ships. POLARIS SUMMARY: Polaris is great if you have a ton of money, and a ton of friends. I play together with about 3-4 friends on certain nights, but most of the time I'm just soloing. I'm thinking of getting either the Polaris or Perseues. Arrow, Buccaneer, Pisces, and Dragonfly). Currently, I have a Carrack/ for exploration/cargo hauling, Vanguard Harbinger as my daily driver, and some others that I rarely use (i.e. It has given me a better idea of what to expect in Star Citizen. Now that's outta the way, the XenoThreat event was a truly beneficial experience for me. Thus, some of the terms I use may not be the accurate air/naval term, so bear with me. SC is my first entry in non-ground Warfare. I've had no interest in other types of warfare. The games I play mostly revolve around general infantrying (ArmA 3, Squad, etc). I am by no means an expert in Space/Naval/Air Warfare. But as I started writing the summary portion, I realise I should probably bring this discussion to Spectrum (Link: ) to clarify any misconceptions I may have, and maybe hear the community's thoughts on these two ships. However, if you really decide to bring this historic location back to the new game, you have to wait a lot longer: The Witcher Polaris won’t be released in 2025, in light of its development it’ll take at least three years.I originally intended this to be a short Pros and Cons for myself, to help me decide on the Perseus or Polaris. The fortified city of Turn offlocated on a lake, is a principal character of the Originale The Witcher per PC, hence the reference to the original made of Weber. I love this story when I re-interpret the old version of mine. As for the reason for the re-make that, he has been able to speak that answer that he deems very diplomatic, so he is focused on what he wants to see next time. Since he is currently working on the new Witcher story and, for that reason, refrains from giving any kind of concrete anticipation to GamesRadar. There was no indication, however, what the future conditions of The Witcher may be, although the author, Philip Weber, expressed his affection for a specific location of the original trilogy, which stars Geralt in Rivia. The fans’ attention is especially directed toward The Witcher Polaris, the game that will kick off a new era of the gaming company’s new saga, while information is still not reliable. While the DVD-players await the more recent release of The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox X/S, the CD Project RED is actively working with the family and friends on their behalf. The Witcher series has been popular for a long time. ![]()
